Jensen Outdoor Ipe Restoration Kit

The Ipe Restoration Kit contains Penofin Pro-Tech Wood Cleaner, Stripper, and Brightener to prepare your Ipe for refinishing. Pairs with Penofin Verde Oil Finish (oil finish is not included in this kit).

When you need this kit: If Ipe Furniture Has an Inappropriate Finish or Excessive Stain Buildup

Ipe furniture is meant to last for many years, however, during that long life an inappropriate paint or stain may be applied. If your Ipe furniture needs to be stripped and restored to the as new finish, follow these steps:

1. ApplyPenofinPro-TechWood Stripper to a clean dry surface, following directions on the bottle.
2. To prepare Ipe for a UV-protective coat of PenofinVerde Oil Finish, use PenofinPro-TechWood Cleanerto remove surface dirt, then rinse off with water.
3. To brighten and re-establish the pH balance of Ipe wood to best accept the PenofinVerde Oil Finish, use PenofinPro-TechWood Brightener, then rinse off with water and allow to dry completely.
